Postal MO going MIA?

Hello bartertowners.
It seems that I have a postal money order that is supposed to be heading to another member on here that has gone MIA,I mailed it out the 6th and nothing has arrived yet.
Is there some reason that I am missing that mail would be running that slow right now,taxes perhaps or something else that would make it take so long?
Not sure what to do.
Suggestions?

Did you keep the receipt portion? IIRC you can get it cancelled & eventually a refund.
The PO sales receipt will also list the MO # - IIRC you can use that to check the MO's status with US-PS.

I have both the receipt and the bit from the top of the MO.

You can't track them per se, but you can find out if they've been cashed; apparently that's not easy though :(
There is some other info on the back of the bit from the top of the MO.

ummm yeah so this can be deleted as I just got my mail,,,,its been outside just didnt go get it,,,,too busy painting,,anyways,,,the letter with the mo in it was sent back to me for some reason,put the address on it I was given,,shrugs
