Transfer Cable

I saw a call for help similar to this a while ago
I jsut recently upgraded my paltry 20gb Xbox HD to the massive 120 gb one
However the only way to get one of these larger HD's is to get them second hand from a store such as Gamestop.
None of the gamestops in my area have a transfer cable, I had them look it up.

So I fall to the ever helpful community here at Bartertown.
I'm in need of one of these cables as I really do not want to loose all my wonderful Fallout 3 data :-D
I'd be happy simply getting a loan from someone, though I'd have no problem simply purchasing it from them if the price was reasonable.

Is the Xbox USB compatible? Maybe you could just swap the files onto a USB key.

Alternatively, in my own case, there is a store here that does Xbox modding etc and they would almost certainly do a file transfer--maybe you have a store like that?

Lastly--a computer service place should have the right cable.

I did take a look at ebay before posting this.
I don't want to sound "stuck up" but I really did not want to wait for my cables from Hong Kong, Just about every cable kit I found was from there. The ones that were not from there were $10+ for something that is supposedly a "one shot" item especially since I can get a new one from Xbox themselves for $14.

In essesnce I was being cheap

*edit*
Ok so I don't really use Ebay, can't generally stand the place. All I had to do was "sort by distance" and I came up with a reasonable chance at getting a cable for a cheap arse SoB like me :)

In Layman's terms: He wants to borrow someone's cable, which he will send right back to them once he is finished transferring.

Yes and no, I knew I could simply get one from the Microsoft store for roughly $15.
Most ebay options were either from halfway around the world.
or
for more than $15 when you add in what they want for shipping.

I did not have the paitence to sort through all 300+ entries and I really do not care for ebay, which is why I mentioned that I never realized that I could sort by distance.
I got out of ebay simply because far to many people would do something like "Land raider for $35" and then in small print out of the way "Shipping $20" - It does not cost $20 to ship standard mail, I don't care where in the U.S. you are. *end rant*

I was hoping that someone would in fact have "loaned" me a cord, though I knew that was slim. On the other hand, paying someone like $5 or so to ship me the cord would have been a far more likely prospect.
