Hey all, I just got a large number of minis. Most are broken. In the deal are 5 oop raptors. Only 1 is complete. 3 are missing arms and 2 are missing heads.
There are a bunch of loose and/or broken parts. Does anyone have a link or pics of them? Source of legends doesn't. [at least that I could find.]

Also, another mini has a shoulder pauldron with a skull centered on a cog. Does anyone recognise that?

After all my questions about IW, only 1 mini is the correct model. The warsmith. The remainder are poorly, painted generic csm. the color scheme isn't even correct.

I have alot of paint to strip and broken minis to repair. Some aren't even salvagable.

hey if u need bits to fix ur IW stuff hit me up ill get u a bunch of bits either cheap or free as im in such a great mood and have way too many arms for my csm army and i want to see if i can get u to have a good time with the army and 40k in general

an easy way to tell if you have raptor heads in the box-o-bitz is if you have any dorky looking winged ones or just any metal heads at all. you have raptor heads.

arms are a bit different, they all used the old CSM arm sprue from what i can remember. That and looking at my mob of 17 old ones. The only guys who had arms were the asp champ with his one metal power sword arm and the special weapons guys whith the arms in a holding pattern attached to their body all close but no weapon or hands there.

Going thru them again, I have now 2 usable minis. I found 1 metal head.
So I have the champ with the metal sword and melta, and the special weapon guy with flamer.
of the last 3; 3 are missing arms and 1 is missing the jumppack and a head.

I could probably fake the arms, maybe. I'd really like to see the old ones to approximate the arms. There are no old arms, just the newer ones. I'm not even sure if there are extras, or usable extras.
But not the missing jumppack.

I got 3 rhinos in the deal also.
1 has like 3-4 layers of paint and has all the bits broken off.
1 is partially built but looks complete.
The 3rd is on sprue. Just 1 sprue. So half the vehicle is missing. There isn't a complete set of tracks, of the entire left side, sprue "A" I guess, is missing.

That one sounds like either one of the old Adeptus Mechanicus models or a Space Marine Techmarine. Most likely a Techmarine though.

Was this a Feebay deal? I'm thinking you should contact him for a partial refund or leave him a negative reference. That's ridiculous!

It was. I have. He hasn't responded. i've filed with feebay and it's protege, paypal.

The ref will come after the outcome.

Thanks for the pics. They'll help with to rebuilds, also the feebay case; showing what I was supposed to receive.

The model with the cog, is a IW with a las cannon. I don't know where the pauldron came from, but I removed it and the head and added the correct one after seeing it on the GW site. So instead of 9 IW and 1 warsmith, I have 1 of each. The torso has the cog pattern around the neck.

More for the feebay dispute.

Did the seller not provide pics?

A few pics. Most of the pics showed only the front row, with the others behind it. The pics were blurry or had camera flash. Alot got broken because the box had almost no packing. The raptors were behind the new style.
The rhino was in the back of the shot. The unbuilt wasn't even shown.

i think i have a set. let me see if the arms are still attached.

IIRC, they came with the old Chaos arms sprue, with maybe 6 arms on it, and then the Chaos Assault Weapons sprue (featuring the tiny Plasma Pistol and the curved-blade axe).

I would upgrade them with the new Chaos sprues in a heart beat--avoid the stiff-armed old poses!
