Okay, the easiest way(in my opinion) is to use a hosting site and then to link them here. So how you would do this is go to a free image hosting site, like this one
http://photobucket.com/
Once their you can join very simply and for free. Then you can upload your pics very simply. Once uploaded you right click on the picture you want and then click
Copy Image Location
If if you right click and past in your post you will get something like this
http://i481.photobucket.com/albums/rr17 ... 1260886061
Now all you have to do is click the button entitled Img from the list on the top which will look like this.

Then you just put the url in the boxes and you should get this.

Oh wait nope that what you get if you link it straight from a pm. So if someone sends you a pm with an image attached you have to download it and upload it to a hosting site. Then you should get these.

Hope that helps.

How large are the files you're trying to upload? It might be that the file size is too big.

Also, please, tell us what you ARE doing, so we can see if it's something you're doing wrong.

HOW did you do it?
Did you use the "upload attachment" tab?
What steps did you try from there?
Where are you uploading them from?
What is the file TYPE?
What is the file size?

With those answers, I/we should be able to offer more assistance.

Please, answer ALL of the questions I asked.
We cannot help you if you don't give us complete answers.

"Tech support. How may I help you?"
"My computer broke."
"Okay. What happened?"
"Well, it was working. Then it wasn't?"
"So, what happened?"
"It broke."
"How did it break."
"By breaking."

Yes. That is an exaggeration... and a playful one at that.

The point is the same on both, though.

What file TYPE are you trying to upload? .jpg? .gif? other?

It sounds like you're trying to upload a type not allowed by the forum software. Being more specific as Eric has repeatedly (and kindly) asked will shed light on the problem.

Excuse me....did i say I was being disrespectful ?
I seemed to me he was asking me what message I was getting...I told him.
I also said, it was okay, that maybe it would work another time.
Seems to me, that you whoever you are needs to be on decaf.
Try reading the humor.......

FWIW, nobody accused you of being disrespectful.

He was just pointing out the fact that I asked a few pointed questions (more than once) that will help me pinpoint the problem with the site or your actions (depending on your answers) and that you hadn't responded to them.

You still haven't.

Ben, if you'll answer those problems, I can help find out what's going on. If you don't, then there is NO WAY to know what's going on, for certain.
What is the file TYPE?
What is the file size?

One thing I learned to do in my capacity at in the service was to read between the lines. My perception of HIS comments was that he just jumped in w/out assessing my answer...which was...drop it, this was not a big thing.
Apparently the file attempted did not work....again, hence...drop it. As I said in my posts, no big thing to provide photos when requested.
I will say it now and once again.....this is no reflection on you...you have always been fair with me. I will admit, I am not a computer geek and am still learning this wonderful new world. If it doesn't wok one time,it will work another time, or I will find another way.

Good enough, then.

One last parting thought, FYI... Here, we actually try NOT to read between the lines (from a staff stand point). The simple reason we try not to is that... Well, not everyone "speaks" between the lines.
If we assume someone IS saying something between the lines, and they aren't... issues... can ensue. LOL if you KWIM. : ) Because of that, we kind of try to emphasize it to our user base, as well. It's better to just keep asking until you get a specific answer (this is a direct correlation to the way things can turn out in a trade if you don't get specifics).
To be fair, I didn't get the "drop it," message either. :)

If you want us to drop it, then good enough. No reason to beat a dead horse. : )

If you don't want to try to deal with uploading the images to BTown, the "hosting site" advice given above is excellent.

Hope that helps.

Eric

As a mater of fact, FYI, I did put pics on Photobucket, as was advised.
Good enough.
