@kturok: How do you read the rule?
During a game, whenever me and my opponent have a rules disagreement, we roll a D6. Once the game is over we'll look over the rule and come to a compromise.

Umm. really, I don't or should I say, haven't. I've scanned the actually 'meat' of the posts and just read the rhetoric; much like when I'm reading paperwork from my laywer.
If you'll note, I haven't brokered an opinion one way or the other on the subject.
I really don't care enough about it. I can't see myself playing in the future, near or distant. SO, either way, it's a moot point.
I just consider the entire discussion comical. I was lambasted on comments I made abiut, lack of customer support and poor rules, yet, that's exactly what's being discussed. A poorly phrased rule, with no 'official' answer in sight. [I received a pm stating that I was ataccked so vehmently, that it 'was like you tried to knife their mother'.
SInce at the flgs, there is at least 3-4 40k players, a reasonable response was decided; either then and there or before the night ended. Usually at least 1 of the non-players in that game was impartial. Even best freinds wouldn't side together over a bad ruling, if they were going to get cheesed by it the next week, day or game.
Heh, I was called a Grognard.

Well, GW makes great models and that is why I like them. GW could put some more work/thought into their rule set, but until they do the only option is for players to roll a D6 during a game, and then discuss later on how the rule should be played. The internet provides an adequate forum for these kinds of rules problems to be discussed. I am all for a house rule if the rule in the book is just going to cause problems and take away the fun aspect.
