You guys are so old.... Next thing you know, we are going to have to get off your lawn!!
By the way, (and yes, I spell it out) I hate L33T speak!
Back to the original topic, I rarely put in offers on stuff when people try to sell them without a price. If you are not willing to let me know how much you want for it, I don't bother. It is just a personal preference thing.
Please do not agree to a trade with me unless you know for sure that you actually want it to happen! If you think that makes me a jerk, feel free to NOT TRADE WITH ME!
Did you grow up on comics from the 80s? So did we. We're creating a comic book that has the "coolness" of modern books, with the style of those books we loved in the 80s/90s. Check it out: www.brassfalcon.com
Along the lines of the OT, what I detest, is actually making an offer and the other guy never gets back with you. If an offer is made, especially if it's an even retail trade for stuff on their want list, get back with the person making the offer. If you don't want to trade say "No thanks". How hard is that? I've had several people I've made offers to and apparently I was simply talking to myself. It's annoying. I've got an offer in right now that I expect to go this way, not saying that it will mind you. I just expect it at this point, which is sad.
Go on, laugh! But one day, you'll be sitting in your house feeling all safe and secure... Then you'll look over and I'll be there... Doin'... stuff!
I do hate when people do not get back to you after you make an offer. i would prefer knowing that they are not interested or would just like a little more. How hard is it to say.."No I wouldn't trade for that but how about an extra SM Squad" or at the VERY LEAST like Locust says " No Thanks" .
It lets a person off the hook for a proposed deal so they can move on and make other deals.
People cant read your mind. If someone proposes a deal tell them your thoughts. Expand on the "No Thanks".
Tell them that you cant stand the verson of the minis that they offered so you are not interested in any kind of trade.
Thell them that you wanted twice retail value because of the spectacular paint jobs you put on your mini.
You are not going to hurt there feelings. You are just going to get a guy that doesnt have to bug you for another week wasting both of yours' time.
On that note I have only ever not responded to 2 people and it was because they specifically ignored what I posted and offered me something that was no where near what I wanted..
like if I saw "I am not breaking this up no mater what I'll just keep it"
and I get a PM that says hey you wanna just sell me just one of your x for $$$???
Ohh yah sure I would...why didn't I think of that? Thats what I really meant to post but my dumb fingers totally typed something else.... /sarcasm
