Taking action on the_trader

I have to agree with Jason, I don't like the tone this has turned either. I have to admit I am angry but I also realize that the only person to blame is myself. Too many people who were not involved in this have put too many injections into this. Redstarone, I understand you cut your losses, understandable. The problem I had was how you made your one and once only announcements. I was trying to figure out where you were in this mess, the kid never names the btown helper by the way. Everyone kept on saying they are sending the info to the admin and was a need to know basis. Can you see where this can stoke the fires of anger? Here I am involved and yet I don't have a bigger picture of anything. Hard to make an informed decision. Everyone else, If you need anything feel free to pm me.

Since there is another, more focused thread on this, I'm locking this one. no need for two.

I'd advise anyone who had a deal with the_trader and believes they've been scammed to do TWO things:

1) Start a BTR immediately if you haven't already done so.
2) Post in the new thread for those who were taken by him.
