Will changing your email addy still fook with your rating?

I noticed with the changes to the ITL system that you can just enter a trader's username for a reference instead of having to enter their email address like you used to. Since it's now tracking by username as well as email (apparently) will changing your email address in your board profile mess with your rating or are the board profile and your ITL profile connected primarily by username? I know that previously you had to contact Adam to make wholesale changes to your email address so the rating came up properly and I was wondering if that were still the case...

I changed mine and it works ok. If you search an email, it will only show the refs for that email. If you search by person it will show all.
