Blocking??

Post by MEDEVL »

With all the talk of late about people's "do not trade lists" that they personally keep I wondered if there was some way that we could "block" people on here. It would make it easier to avoid certain people that you don't want to deal with for whatever reason. On the flip side I still think a "favorites" list would be cool too. It could hold something like your 25 favorite traders and keep track if they list new ads. Just an idea (well 2 actually).

Agreed. That would be great as my DNT list has gone from nonexistant to 5 people within 3 weeks!
Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

I concur. There are about 6 people that I particularly enjoy trading with. When I remember, I can do a search for thier posts, but that is kind of a pain. And of course, there are a handful that I would prefer to not get messages from.

The implementation of this setup could be fairly involved though.

yes id have to agree with the consenus here as well

there are just some people who either dont get what the site is for or have such a hugely inflated sense of what they want and what their stuff is worth.. its just a hassle

id rather have a favorites list first before a do not trade list option

just my .02.8765 cents (inflations a B^&*# !!!! )
