missing PMs

Post by usernamesareannoying »

hi all,
i was wondering if anyone can tell me why i'm missing some pieces from a chain of messages.
im getting ready to do a BTR and i'm organizing my messages. i notice that there are holes in the chain and i know that i havent deleted them so i'm not sure whats going on.
any thoughts?

they are from him.
so him deleteing messages effects my inbox? wow... i didnt know that.
i guess that makes quoting that much more important.

Kt's right. That's the wrong answer. As long as you haven't deleted anything on your end, you'll see them all. The other guy can't delete anything from YOUR PMs.
I would suggest that you look at the time frame that the missing messages are from, then scroll back to then, manually, in the list of PM's. If a PM was sent -even with the same subject line- but was done as a new message, rather than as a response to the existing message, it won't be in the history for that PM string.

I've had that happen to me more than once.

Lower rating? You ship first.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.
