Hi,
I am relatively new to Bartertown and up to this point have had nothing but FANTASTIC experiences. However, I recently made a trade and the other party has ceased responding to my messages. I mailed first because he had WAY more positive references then I did and felt very confident because he had been very prompt and clear in his communication.
It has been over a week since, according to USPS Delivery Confirmation, the package arrived at his house. He is no longer responding to my PM's, and according to his profile has not visited the site since the day the package was scheduled to arrive. This guy has been a member for 3 years and has almost 300!!! positive reviews.
I guess my question is, how long do I wait until I begin taking additional measures to make sure he holds up his end of the trade?
Thanks
Looking for advice...

You have waited long enough. Read all the site rules on bad traders reports. Send him a message stating he has x days to respond to you, or you will file a bad trader report. See if anyone here knows them in RL or can get a hold of them a different way. Unless they have a good excuse that just plain sucks.
Please ship to my by post office, couriers pull all kinds of shenanigans with customs fees

Also PM a staffer.. they may have insight as to why a 300+ trader has dropped off the map. Someone with that much time and effort invested in the site is highly unlikely to be a bad trade risk.
That pattern of behavior is pretty out-of-the-norm for someone with that trade rating.. there may be a legitimate reason for them to be unresponsive or not online.

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.
If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.
I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Re: Looking for advice...
Everyone above is correct.
I would start with Pork's advice, then move to Os' advice.
Admin have access to their email addresses, as well. We can email them and see what's up.
