Now that my newborn has arrived and we're all getting into our "routine" I've noticed that I just don't have as much "hobby time" as I used to - no big surprise there.
What I decided was I would stay with a couple "modeling" games like FoW & Malifaux, but now I'm looking into prepainted (I know, I know... *boo! *hiss!) games so that I can spend more time playing and less time modeling.
Anyway, I looked at Infiniti and wasn't much for the models, but I like the look of AT-43. My questions are:
-Has anyone played this game?
======If so, how were the game mechanics & factions that you played?
======Basically, was the game enjoyable and good for novice players as well as experienced/tactical players?)
-The models come assembled and pre-painted is this correct?
-How long has that game been around? *I've only known about it for a year or so.
Thanks!
Best,

Rik,
I have played the game.
It isn't too bad, nothing like 40K or Warmachine though. If you have a mind for rules then it shouldn't be to hard to pick up.
The starter box is a great place to well...start. It has two forces and a walk through to help you learn the system.
One of the things you have to remember is it is an I go, You go system (one of my units activates then one of your units activates), it uses cards to set up the round.
I am 99.9% certain that all the models are assembled and painted (I think they have some 'legend' models that you can buy that you assemble and paint though).
I have played UNA and Karmans mostly, I liked the UNA but recently traded them so I could concentrate on the Karmans. I have the 2000 point Cog army, but haven't used it yet, I have the 2000 point Oni army on the way, so obviously haven't played them yet. I have all the army books and most of the armies play similarly so it is really more about which models you like the best. When I played my Karmans I had limited models (though now I have at least one of every unit available), I had fun but my friends Therians ripped me apart due to not having any vehicles.
In summery - I have played the game, and enjoyed it - plan on continuing to play (though probable not again until spring) and yes the models are assembled and painted.
If you want to play a fantasy game they also do pre-painted & assembled Confontation, same basic system with a magic system thrown in.
Hope that helps a little bit.
Thank you,
