Any word on return of individual sprues?

I know that GW has slowly been re-introducing their new version of the bitz service. What I'd like to know is do they plan to start selling individual sprues again.

For some things, I don't mind buying the whole box if I can use most of the parts. What I don't want to do is buy a box of 8 Saurus Cavalry because I need a few cold ones. Independant bitz services are great, but some things seem to always be out of stock or outrageously priced.

Anyone on here heard any credible rumors, or have any inside info?

I don't think they are planning on jumping back into things with their entire line of plastics. I know that some sprues are offered now (mainly 40k), like the Land Raider weapon sprue, but .. honestly... got me!

Did you send them an email or phone call and ask? I doubt you would get an accurate response, but the mere act of asking might go into their database as a "hey.. maybe a good idea!" thing.. worth a shot I guess.

Advise taken. I called GW customer services and was told it was unlikely they would ever return to selling individual plastic sprues. As you said, that may not be an accurate answer, but maybe it's one more mark on their tally sheet.

So...anybody interested in half a box of Saurus Cavalry?
