Gah!

First off:
...plus I'm sure you really don't care about my problems and how/whether or not you cause them.
Douchebaggery at its' finest.

Bottom line is that you two came to an agreement and YOU kept your side. It is NOT your fault that the package is returned and you should NOT be expected to foot the bill for shipping a second time AND break the law while doing it.

Send him an email with nothing but a link to this thread and a note to email you after he reads the information in the link.

Tell him you will NOT send back until he sends... bah! What Adunaphel said!!!!! LOL

Except maybe the Red Hot Poker. Whenever I hear that, I think Mel Brooks...

Sorry about this situation..

But.. with reasoned logic.. Nuke Him till he Glows with a Neg Ref and BTR.

He can't be bothered, family or not.. can't take time to send a quick PM? He wants ya to break the law? Wants you to send again cause YOU caused him some issues?

phhbtttt..

Sorry Dude!

I agree 100% with MM and Adunaphel..

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

Thank you very much Karl, starslayer, Eric, and Porkuslime, part of me was worried that maybe I was somehow misreading him, that maybe I just saw douchebaggery that wasn't there and I wanted an outside perspective. I've tried my damnest to be friendly and cordial the entire time, but his emails seemed to reek of condescenion and I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Hell, it's almost as if he feels a sense of entitlement because he's going through hard times, and we ALL go through hard times at different points, we all have problems. Bottom line is that he has the luxury to spend his money on toy soldiers, that's his decision, not mine.

Plus I didn't want to overreact since it would be my first real negative feedback on BT, and I don't think I ever had to do that. I will write him to let him know that his options are to either pay the shipping expenses and have it shipped to him the legit way, exactly as before, or he can opt to get a refund (minus all shipping expenses) once the package has been received and verified ok.

You're being nicer than I would be, as I wouldn't offer the money back.
I'd simply offer to complete the trade as we originally agreed... once he paid me to ship them AGAIN.

Well, I gave it to him as one of several options, with the stipulation that he'd have to ask for once. I'm tired of taking demands. Another option I gave him was for him to write me an angry email full of demands or whatever else he wants, which I would promptly ignore, but might make him feel better and conclude all this.
