Question

Post by kutzmon »

Good day,
I have been asked the following question:

Hi There
I just have a question for you,, At the moment Im playing a SoB army and it says in the rules that I can add IG Stand Infanty to my SoB army,, what I need to know is ,, are these 10 beginning paint plastic Catachan, in pieces considered IG Standard Infanty?

Can anyone answer this so I don't lie to the guy? I'm not willing to blow smoke for a sale.
Yes, Wyoming. It's one of the big square states out west. No, that one's Montana... no, that one's Colorado. The one in the middle, yeah, that square state.

I WILL reply to ALL pm's because it's common courtesy... yep... courtesy.

Having the Witch Hunters Codex in front of me. There are actually a couple of ways you could use Imperial Guard troopers with Sisters of Battle. I do believe you can use Catachans as regular Imperial Guard infantry. They could be inducted (or allied) into the Sisters of Battle force as long as you have the required number of Witchhunter units in your force organization.

Or they could simply be used as Inquisitorial Storm Troopers, which is a troop choice for Sisters of Battle armies.

There is a whole lot of flexibility to Sisters of Battle armies. Lots of flexibility.

The short answer is yes he can use them as either allies or to represent Stormtrooper squads.

Well, in my defense your reponse wasn't there when I responded so I wasn't poking at you intentionally!
At any rate at least we both came up with the same answer so that's a plus!!

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.
