Good day,
Thanks to Bartertown my armies have grown so much that I’m ready to replace my current army cases to hold the overflow. Right now I’m using two Wal-Mart pistol cases with a layer of egg foam and a layer of pick and pull, and an old rental VCR case I filled with egg foam that I picked up years ago from the local video store when they quit renting VCR’s.
What I’m looking for is a place to buy sheets of the grey open cell foam that Sabol and GW use for their trays. I’m not necessarily looking for the cubed pick and pull but that might be nice to have. I have this idea to make a case but I really need to find the foam first so I can figure out the dimensions. I really like the Sabol design but the soft sided bags just don’t appeal to me. The GW cases are pretty much like the old VCR case I have but the squares seem a bit small for all the cavalry I have. I'm tired of all the bent spears and lances from the compressing egg foam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Wyoming. It's one of the big square states out west. No, that one's Montana... no, that one's Colorado. The one in the middle, yeah, that square state.
I WILL reply to ALL pm's because it's common courtesy... yep... courtesy.

you could go take a look at your local art store. I bought some foam there to accomodate some stuff i was working on that i needed to put into storage and carry around with. I forgot exactly what it was, but its about the same material as what sabol uses, maybe just a pinch thicker material, but that's about it. I was able to cut and trim it down to size and just cut rectangular pieces out to slide in the mini's i was working on without much hassle at all.
Foam
Another possibility would Home Supply or Bedding stores. The foam used for some pillows and mattresses (plural?) tops could serve as well.
