Some time ago, I obtained some Imperial Eagle brass etchings. They have sat in storage since I never really had something I wanted to use it on. Well..now I do. Yet, I really have no clue what I am doing with them.........
How do I use them?
How should it look once I am done?
Are these just glued on and than painted over?
Are the glued on and left shiney brassy/gold?
I mean........help???
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Brass Etching Questions
They can be used in a number of ways.
Most often, they ARE painted over.
I've seen them glued to flat areas, shaped to fit rounded or angled areas, used as banners.
Really, any way you can think to use them, go for it.
And, yeah... I've seen them left as-is and only washed a little to make the details pop.

I have recently learned with them brush on super glue is your friend if you are trying to get them around small items like the space marine scout shoulder pads. The main thing is to take your time and be easy with the more delicate small parts
