Chaos Battering Ram advice

Hi there,
Ok, two children and 4years later i am back to selling my childhood again.
I am in the process of removing the paint from all my miniatures which were all bought in the 1980s.
But i don't know what to do about the Chaos battering Ram. I did a kind of conversion job and its painted. Its in excellent condition, but when i bought it i did not notice the ogre on wheels element at the rear was missing.
So my question is, do i remove the paint and let the chips fall where the may regarding the conversion? or leave it as is and see what price i can get for it?
I did 'sell' it on ebay years ago, but the bloke rang me and had to cancel meeting due to family issues so the deal fell through and i didn't pursue it.
So my final question is what do people think its worth?

No need to insult the paint work though please
cheers

Since this is not yet a trade thread, I have moved it to a more appropriate forum.
Regarding the ram. That is a Tony Ackland Battering Ram. There is currently one on eBay for $1,000, but it is New in Box (sealed). There is one being sold on Facebook via a store in Europe (opened but still new, hasn't been touched) for £200. Looks like most eBay history on the piece is in and around 500-850.
Best bet is fully strip it (so there is NO paint on it at all). You will get the most from it that way. However since there is a piece missing don't expect to sell it for the best price you can get. It is collectible but it isn't complete.
Hope that helps in your decision.

Well
technically it would be best in The Olde World (which I originally moved it to) but then I said to myself I said "It has to do with the direct selling of product that COULD warrant being in the Help Forum since the header states
For general questions, rule questions, trade advice, FAQ's, and other assistance-related matters
".
lol Oh well. Next time...
@OP - Glad I could be of service.

Olde World is for discussion of the game, itself. Not models.
So, HA!!!!
