Hey ya'll
I'm just passing this around for what it's worth. I couldn't agree more that GW desperately needs to change their business model. What do you guys think?

I think it's a waste of time. They've never listened to their customers and aren't about to start now.

Their new model is to open stores and sell at full price. Buying from the store, supports it and gives you a place to play, with an 'official' voice on premises. [someone who knows? the rules]
[that's from the new GW store in my area.]

"Oh look an online petition, we should listen to this"
Said no company, ever.
The only thing that ever works is voting with your wallets, that's why Family guy came back (DVD's sales were huge) that's why Firefly got a movie, and because people still by GW's stuff, that's why the won't have such a drastic change

Unless you and your petitioners are majority shareholders I think that you will wait a long time for a response. It is more than a little entitled of you to think that you as a consumer could change the direction of a private company. If you don't like something, your best vote would be with your wallet.

Yet some lady made TRU pull Breaking Bad figures.
If we do nothing, nothing changes. If we do something and nothing changes, than its up to each individual person to walk or stay.

Eh, I figure it's worth the two minutes to sign; even if it ends up doing nothing. I know their policies and how they view their customers, I used to work for them, but something is better than nothing.
