Ok....so who else got their weekly GW newsletter and started clicking around? We I did because I guess I am bored and a glutton for punishment, so I follow the link to the US GW site and this is what I find..

GW just opened a store locally. It's open 5 days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. It opens at noon and closes at 7pm wed, thurs, fri. 8pm on sat. 6pm on sunday. It closes everyday from 3-330 for lunch.
The local flgs is pissed because they actually have more gw stock than this place.

Several years back, GW opened a store at the Nashville Opry Mills mall. I worked part-time at the FLGS at the time, and it pissed the owner off quite a bit. His store had built up the player base, then GW tried to take it. Turned out not to be profitable enough for GW, so they closed the store. What they had done for the local scene by being there actually ended up giving the FLGS 1.5 times as much business when GW closed.

That's what the FLGS thinks. The GW store is there to build up the business they lost. Hoping to have new customers. For GW overall, no matter who sells the stock.
They have another small shop, a couple hours away. It's barely open also and has few customers vs the 2-4 FLGS in the area.
