I'm wondering where to look here/online to find precision dice cheap(ish).

How cheap? Used casino dice are the obvious source, found in antique stores etc.

It's worth noting that a lot of gaming events clubs etc. frown on them b/c the sharp corners mess up foam tables.

Yeah I'm looking for 15mm precision (backgammon maybe?).

I hate casino dice.

I'd love to find some around $2 a pop

I like Koplow dice. They're not "precision," but they are squared edge/corners, as opposed to the rounded edges that Chessex uses.
I find that they roll far more average.

Search "Koplow dice" on feebay and you'll find them.
