Bartertown.com

Hello, I've just recently signed up for an account but I used this service around 10 or more years ago back before when I was a whee lad just starting his Tyranid army. Bartertown seems to have come a long way since I used it over a decade ago. Since then my Tyranid army has grown considerably (at least 3,000 points currently) especially with all of the new models that have come into being. I'm a gamer in the US in the CT area and hoping to finally get started on painting this army I've been putting off.

There are just a couple things to note:

1) Do you remember your User ID from back then? If we can find your old references, we can attach it to this account. On the other hand, if you had an account when we switched from the old, scrolling boards to these phpbb boards, we really should get that one reactivated for you, rather than starting a new one.

2) I moved your thread. We have specific forums for general conversations, now. The one you posted in is for when you have Bartertown related questions (How do I do this, what does that mean, etc.).

3) Please, take a few minutes and read over the rules. The general idea has never changed, but they've been fleshed out a lot in the last 10 years. Things that may have gone unnoticed in the old days aren't all considered "kosher" now.

4) Check out our "Creative Endeavors" forum. If you're painting your army, you can post them in the "Painting Challenge" thread. It's a friendly competition where fully painted models are worth points and the one with the most points at the end of the year "Wins."
What does he win, you ask? A million dollars... or the right to say he won... Staff's choice.

Unfortunately it's been so long that I've forgotten what my username or email would've been. No big loss as I only made a few transactions here (I remember sending the money orders through physical mail haha).

I have read the rules though and they make sense to me to keep people on task and polite. I will do my best not to make any transgressions.
