Guess I was wrong....been awile since I played 40k.

yea...well....um..... no. those are lead belchers. no way would I allow those across the table in a 40k game from me. plastic crack has rotted his brain.

They're GW models on 40mm bases holding hige guns so, really, they're perfectly legit to Count As Obliterators.
That said... There is no CONVERSION there... They're just Lead Belchers. So, while I definitely would not cause a stink in a game about it, I'd be sure the guy knows that they're not converted but are, instead, merely based on round bases. If there had been even a minimal amount of conversion, like greenstuffing the arms to the cannons, Obliterator-style, then he could legitimately, if somewhat feebly, call them converted.

That said, the text of his auction makes it pretty clear what his intentions there are.
