Im sorry but Im at this point really really ticked. Had so many people back out of trade recently its become super annoying. I mean I ship in a timely fashion, I am perfectly willing to haggle, always willing to give accurate descriptions and pictures upon request. I trade retail to retail no matter what the condition of the others items are. I have no bad feedbacck. What is going on! Had at least 10 people pull out of trade with me both big and small. The worst one was from an advertiser on this site who I was conducting a trade with. He had $900 retail of items (Painted/Primed) and wanted to trade for some DVD box sets of mine about $350 retail dollars worth. I offered to let him pick out whatever units of his he wanted to send and I would ship first he had the gall to claim that "well I can get those DVDs at a pawn shop for $4." Really Sherlock?! I mean seriously if we are talking about pawn shops I have seen space marines for a buck or less. Or how about yard sales $5 for a lot of 20!! And to make matters more compelling the dvd boxes set I had WERE STILL *edit* SEALED!!! I mean I he was wanting me to trade for Painted/primed units for full retail value but my still sealed $30 each box sets he was going to value them at $4 ea for trade....that barely more then 10% of retail value. Yeah and he wonders why I got offended. Cause oh no this wasnt the first time he backed out on a deal. But the 2nd. Yeah dont care if he begs next time dont think I will ever trade with him.

Fair enough - and thanks for not naming the other trader to 'call him out.' We don't really like doing that, because it just starts a flame war (regardless WHO the other party is). What you did, though? Just fine.
Anyway, regarding the valuation of items, there's something else to keep in mind; Supply and demand.
There are a lot more people here -and online- who are looking for 40K, WHFB, etc. than there are who are looking for DVD boxed sets (depending on the DVD's of course). So, for something with such a low desirability, people are certainly going to want trades in their favor. I know I would.
As for getting models at lower prices; sure. You can do better than retail for them if buying, and he probably should have lowered the value on his stuff if he was going to lower the value of yours... but painted/primed GW stuff is going to hold it's value WAY better than DVD boxed sets. I mean, any resaler who knows what he has is going to charge a higher % of MSRP for painted/primed GW models than he will for a used DVD boxed set (barring, of course, certain "high desirability" sets).
Again, though, it's fine that you feel that way and -officially speaking- there's nothing wrong with you venting here. This is a perfect forum for it.

sure I can understand an uneven trade but $4 for a $30 item. You could get more for it at a garage sale. That goes beyond haggling to just plain insulting. Ill admit I wrote a reply I had to delete before he read it cause I was seeing quite a bit of red at that point.

Fair enough.
I was definitely not saying you were wrong, just showing the potential other p.o.v.
