Reminder - Origins Game Fair in Columbus OH, in 3 weeks!

Just a heads up to any Bartertowners in the Ohio and surrounding states..
Origins Game Fair (midwest's largest gaming convention) is coming up May 30-June 3. They have moved it up 4 weeks this year for some reason.
I will be attending and living in the Miniatures Hall as usual, with my Nic on my badge.
Stop by and say Hi!
(or even better, stop by, say Hi, and play in some of our groups games! We are logging 300+ hours of GM time this year)

I see on the page something about Day Passes but they seem to have a lot of restictions. If I don't intend to paly in any tournaments or onything is that my best bet?? I'm never been to a huge thing like this so I don't really know what to expect. Also the family price is $15. Is that just for mom, dad and the kiddies or does it work for 3 grown brothers for example??
Is there unofficial stuff that goes on too (like guys getting together and swapping bits, etc??

As far as I am aware, the Family Cost is the standard Mom/Dad/2.6 children thing, but I don't know how that would translate to 3 adult brothers.
In the Miniature area, there are "off the record" games and trading. I personally, (since I live in the city), can always bring some things with me the following day (or if we agreed on a deal thru PM).. I think last year we had one guy who brought a tackle box and tried trading bits, but ended up selling mostly as the other attendees didn't bring their bits to swap.
The Day Passes get you into the convention, visit the Exhibitor Hall etc.. but don't let you play ANY formal session games. We have been told to make sure all players in our events have full passes for the days in question. After hours (after 6pm), that restriction is off. A lot of my friends did the Day pass just to visit the Exhibitor hall and to kibitz around the 40k area..

well, we have folks registered for our tourney that are coming up from Tennessee..
Last year we had folks from Florida, but that was more of a happy accident..lol
