umm a swamp buggy ia either a half-tack, full track or multi wheeled vehicle that traverses the swamps [thus the name] to hunt or race.
some are builton te chassis of old tanks. all are bigger than a 350 clubcab pickup. horsepower is unknwn. most are about 15-20 feet tall.
a puny lance woudn't even reach. it's like using a foil vs a knight in full plate, riding a barded dinosaur.

Your "fence pole" definitely qualifies as a lance, kt. I was referring to what they joust with, not what their 'steed" is. It's hard to ride a lance... until you're on the losing side of one, but that isn't a ride you want to take. LOL
