Malifaux miniature questions - Sue + others

I am looking at adding some Malifaux figs to my straight western miniature games (not weird west!)... and am looking for suggestions, plus a couple questions.
1. Outcast model "Sue" .. is the guitar a separate part, or is that a 1 part model?
2. Are the newer plastic models bigger than the older metals?
At this time, I am not planning on going Gremlin... there might be rules down the road for them, but not now.
I already have:
Perdita Ortega
Latigo Pistoleros
Mr. Graves
Models on my list that I am thinking of acquiring for western games include..
Convict Gunslinger (male)
Papa Loco Ortega
Miner with Pick
Miner with Dynamite and Hammer
but am sure I am missing some good ones to grab.
Tuco would be on my list, but he has horns on his hat..

The guitar is molded to the piece.
The plastics are smaller than the metal line

really? I have the Relic Hunter box and those figs look larger than the metals, but I have not yet assembled them.
Also interested in any Privateer Press figs that might work, too.. btw.

I don't think many of the PP models would fit into western theme. I could only think of Kell Bailoch, and maybe Harlen Versh or Rutger Shaw as somewhat easy to westernize. Oh, and Madelyn Corbeau to run the local house of ill repute!

Some of the Mage Knight models have a western theme.. They were from the ..steam faction? It's been a while. I know 1 looked like a gunslinger, if he wasn't called that.
Talk to MM [Eric]. He has all of mine.

Willy might fit in. He's the one with the barrel of dynamite.

I never really liked the Malifaux models for BlackWater Gulch. I thought I would, and I even dug a bunch out to have painted up alongside the regular BWG models. In the end, the Malifaux models were just too big for my tastes.
Have you checked them out, side-by-side, Jim? Or, does the size difference just not bother you?

Pork, have you checked out the upcoming Wild West Exodus lineup?
Though it the Malifaux models are too large than they might be as well.

I hear that the WWE models are... 32mm? Those would dwarf BWG models.

Yeah 32 mm. But they are really nice. I just got the Mic model and its is some of the best plastic on the market.

Here are a couple shots I took of figs I have.. against a WHFB Movement tray flat with the 25mm squares visible.

from left to right.. Black Scorpion western lady (IIRC), Malifaux Latigo Pistolero (metal), Reaper, Blackwater Gulch metal wrassler, and Malifaux metal Perdita Ortega (alternate)
should be noted that Perdita is on a slightly raised base insert though

Do you have any other BWG to compare it to? The Wrassler is the tallest figure in the range.
It also might be the inserts. All of my Malifaux are on inserts, but my BWG are not.

Yeah.. I have the mexicans and clancy gang.. will get those up tonight.
I will say that at NO point, over the convention, did anyone mention scale issues. Just is not a big deal on the table.
