Hey does anyone out there in Barter land have a site that gives the rules for "movie" space marines? I remember reading a white dwarf on the subject and wanted to run a campaign where a small force of Marines are trying to fight back against an overwhelming ork force....

Sites , opinions, any information you might have out there would be super helpful also opinions on what chapter to run that thematically go good vs orks would be much appreciated

If you have a collection of WD issues at home, it was WD issue 300 where you can find them. You may be able to find the issue on Feebay but it may cost you. Online Im sure there is a place somewhere that has them but my web fue is low.

Just got a PM that listed off the pages and linked to a PDF thanks so much this is great.... So psyched any thoughts on a good chapter of space Marines to paint up for this? Not ultramarine tho... I don't want it to feel like the x box 360 game and I never really liked their color scheme

In my view, the only way to build Movie Marines is as a Death Watch Kill Team.

I was with GW when this came out, and we based ours on 40mm bases and really went to town on each individual fig, playing up the "Chapter Traits" of each member.

And did I mention that their ride was an Inquisitorial Rhino that looked like the A-Team van?

Nice advice I am questioning picking up one of the reclisium? Squad with five Marines and a rhino and a veteran squad

Iron griffons do look pretty awesome maybe scratch build a basic bolter marine here or there... To be honest 12 Marines and a rhino will be the cheapest army I've ever put together

I wouldn't be against it(adding chaos to a campaign) However if chaos Marines did show up I would probably just mirror another movie marine squad with chaos rules to field them as true opposition to the marine squad... That would be awesome
