During the Horus Heresy?
I'm looking through my CSM codex, even reading Lucius blurb, but it doesn't say what chapter.

I'm doing a conversion with a helmet under a champions foot.

I can't find my Fulgrim book...

I know someone here has a better memory for details like that better than I do.

Thanks.

There was some grief between them and the Iron Hands, where Fulgrim ultimately puts Ferrus Manus out of his misery (for having the worst name reference ever), though they used to be buddies... other than that, I dunno, World Eaters make sense, because of the rivalry.

What chapter was Lord Commander Cyrius? That's who Lucius fought. I recall the battle, from the novel, but not the chapter.

I was quoting the same source as that, the last CSM codex.

But who was it they fought in Fulgrim? I guessed, obviously incorrectly, that te CSM codex quoted the bokk. I guess it was talking about much later.

Ferrus Manus (Iron Hand, literally) so I would say Iron Hands.

Hello,
Pretty much from the book it was only the Iron Hands and the xenos Snake guys that DE uses that the EC really had fought mainly. Then they just murdered the Eldar wraithlord. I think it was the Iron fists that drove them out of Terra after they slaughtered thousands. That is what I remembered from The book of Fulgrim.

I believe they had some rivalry with the Death Guard as well.

Actually one of the Emperors Childrens greatest battles was between them and the World Eaters right after the Heresy. After the collapse of the Heresy both the World Eaters and the Children retreated to the same chaos planet. Soon a war broke out over the planet between them but they soon realized a severe winter was approaching and decided to dig in until winter ended. But here comes the new and improved Kharn. Who had already died on Terra during the Heresy and Khorne gave him life again. He saw how his men had stopped fighting the children over the planet and suddenly attacked his own World Eater brethern. Some followed Kharn others fought against him and his followers. Hence the name Kharn the Betrayer. This is also where the old fluff about rarely ever seeing a full world eater army was a rare sight. World Eater Bezerkers usually appeared as allies to chaos armies.
