Mini Space Hulk

Post by astrosmash »

Ahoy Bartertown!

Has anyone made a mini space hulk set? Any experience with the Litko 15mm corridors?
I'm considering 6mm as well, but I haven't seen any epic genestealers around anywhere.
I would love to see what you put together and get any tips on sources for GW epic minis.
Lets see those travel sets if you have them!

Thanks!
Matt

lol! As long as you can tell the termie types apart, that's a really fun idea!

I've never seen anything like that, but would also be interested if anyone has done it.

I saw pics of a game being played with meeples and paper weapons, which would work but...it was just wrong.

I found some other pics of a magnetized board using epic minis- guy had it on his refrigerator!

The 15mm Likto space corridors look promising, but I haven't seen them in person- will definitely be checking those out at GenCon if I can find them.

What minis are you using for the Genestealers?

Your setup looks great!
Nice tips on converting the epic terminators too- I was thinking about how to make that work.

I was looking at Khurusan miniatures Space Demons for the Genestealers, but the ones you used look really nice.
Khurusan has Octopus God cultists that might work well for Genestealer Hybrids as well- check them out!

Thanks! It hasn't seen as much use as I would like because I haven't had time to make up a mini rulebook/mission/maps set yet.
Still need to do a few more specialty terminators too, like the libby and the lightning claws.

Will probably be a while before I add Hybrids to this. Probably add them to my 3rd edition set first, as I got a second box to convert up some terminator characters and will use the extra blips to give me a,b,c,d,e,f like the old missions with hybrids.

I just realized I got my scales mixed up- the Khurusan minis are 15mm.
I haven't decided if I'm going to go 15mm or 6mm yet :)
