Hey BT.. need to tap the collective brain trust here.

I need to find a head for an Imperial Guard commisar that I am scratch-assembling. (maybe 2)

A couple of requirements..
Must have Peaked Cap
made of plastic or resin (NO Metal)

It does NOT have to be GW..
I have, and have used, the peaked cap GW Tank Commander head, the GW Baneblade Commander head, and the Cadian Commander Head. Those three heads I do not want to re-use.

So.. anyone able to point me to a scale appropriate head series not-metal?

I think you may have a tough time with no metal--you already have covered the entirety of the GW line. There are peaked caps in the Forge World Cadian upgrade packs.

What about using the head from either of these 2 Forge World tank commanders. They are £5 each:

I see those.. and worry about the dangers of needing to behead them to make them work for me.. if they came with legs, they would be perfect ..

IF you search the Forge World site for Commissar you will see 2 other gasmask versions that have legs and 2 great poses. For an extra £5 you get legs!

I see those.. and if I ever get to the point where I *need* a Lord Commissar I am going that route. but right now I have 2 half-built plastic commisars and I just need 2 heads..

Need to rebuild Paypal.. and make a couple purchases as well. THEN I can get these..

Both the SHS and the Pig Iron line are in metal, though, which is against your basic requirements.

I know.. I know.. however, failing to find the heads I want in plastic.. I find myself willing to expand my limitations.. finishing the 2 commisars are more important now than being rigid about plastic..

Ah, well, in that case, Westwind makes some other lines of heads that are probably worth exploring.
