Help and indesicive hobbyist.

Post by Overcooketaco »

I'm currently going back to my chaos space marine origins in a big way but I can't decide on the theme of the army. I was thinking of going with a trench warfare/horror movie themed plague marine army except..I love the god specific troops as well and also like the idea of some sort of church of chaos or damned crusader theme. Anyways. Any advice or help would be very much appreciated as I'm itching to paint the army and need to know where I'm going and if I'm even going to keep the numerous cult troops I have other then the FW plague marines.

A horror movie inspired army would be EXCELLENT.
I can just see it now:
Freddy Kreuger inspired terminators with burned up faces and lightning claws, Berzerkers with shark heads, inspired by Jaws, Warriors with hockey masks... Yes! lol

In all seriousness, define "horror movie themed."

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Haha sorry for the vagueness. Umm lots of blood effects, dark paint scheme, over the top in realism and grittiness. Think the art style of texa chainsaw massacre. Lots of chipped paint and dark greasy armor with lots of violent conversions. I'll be doing a mockup of both schemes and post them soon.
