Ref pages right clicking

Is it just me or are all right click mouse functions disabled on the Reference page?? For instance I just tried to copy and paste an address to a BTR but it's impossible. Nor can you try and open the board index in a new tab. In the past I've even tried to use the copy function to highlight the text since it can be hard to read sometimes. I just wondered why this was.

They are designed that way for whatever reason. I could swear I saw MM post about it in a BTR once but I am not sure.

Once upon a time, there was this little boy. We'll call him... Adam. Adam built a really cool clubhouse for him and his friends to play in. Even better, though, he made his clubhouse free and open to any other little boys and girls who wanted to come in and agreed to play nice together. Many boys and girls flocked to Adam's clubhouse. Some became lifelong friends, just because they met there. Adam worked very hard to keep making his free clubhouse better for all of the other little kids to play in.
Of course, not every little boy or girl who came to the clubhouse was nice and played fair. Those kids were kicked out and had their names put on a "do not enter" list. Adam and his friends didn't want them there.
There was one boy, though... this boy did not like to play well with others, did not seem to like Adam or any of his friends, and did not want to follow the rules. There was something about the clubhouse that enticed him, though, and he just could not stay away. We'll call this boy... Justin.
Justin seemed to be addicted to the clubhouse. He kept putting on disguises and trying to sneak in. By this time, however, Adam had enlisted the help of a group of boys he trusted. These boys watched the clubhouse when Adam wasn't around. They kept order, they enforced the rules (and created new ones when needed), and spent WAY more time in the clubhouse than made their wives...err... mothers... happy. Also, many of the kids who came to the clubhouse got to feel very fond of it, as well. The "trusted" boys, as well as the other kids who'd grown to love the clubhouse, kept unmasking Justin. They kept catching him in his disguises and kept kicking him out.
Eventually, Justin got tired of being kicked out. He decided he was going to build HIS OWN clubhouse. It would be "way more neato than Adam's stupid clubhouse," he convinced himself. Justin was a smart kid, and he was good at building those things. He built a clubhouse that looked GREAT from the outside. It had pretty colors and a lot of rooms. Unfortunately, it was lacking in some of the features that Adam and his friends had spent years and years putting into his clubhouse.
Justin got an idea. He announced that he was going to copy over all of everyone's "saved games" from the game console, so that they could have the same games at HIS club as they did at Adam's. He was sure that THIS would entice all the boys and girls to come to his place.
Adam was smarter than him, though. Adam put some special locks on the game console. Now, people could look at it, and could even see other people's "saved games," but could not copy them. All they could do was look.

And that, boys and girls, is the story of how the ITL came to be locked.

See, now I'm glad I asked. Although I already knew the back story I didn't know the ITL connection. Cool! Thanks MM.

ITL? Who said ITL? I didn't say ITL. I said "Game Console." I didn't intended there to be a direct correlation.
Surely, you misunderstood.
