Considering the nature of this forum, I was expecting to see some sort of "New members / Say hi" area--you know, start building a "presence." I hope it's okay if I just do that here.
Hi, I'm Brian, aka Writer@Large. I am new to Bartertown, but used to trade on the old PP boards a lot, and I also host the unofficial Monpoc forum The End Times (formerly Earth's F**ked), where we have a game-specific trade forum. Hoping to build a good rep here and score some new models!

Posting in this forum is perfectly fine.
Currently, Bartertown focuses more on trade than discussion, so you'll see that we have only a few "discussion" type threads.
Hopefully, however, that will be changing soon.
In the mean time, if we can't keep up with your discussion needs well enough here, look at the tabs at the top of your screen. You'll see one for Warhammer40K.com. That's our sister site, and they do quite a bit of jabbering there. : )
