I believe in crawl-walk-run, and it is a fact that International trades go slower, requiring more paperwork and such. That's a fact.

Doable? Yes.
Desirable? No.

And yet again you equate new traders with diminished capacities. This time comparing them to infants unable to "walk" yet. Both of your arguments seem, at best, condescending. If someone doesn't want to trade internationally that's fine, but telling them not to do it because you think it's overly complex is just a tad presumptuous.

Wow, read much unnecessarily into people's words lately?

Also, pretending that international trade is as easy as domestic is patently false.

Finally, if all n00bs are so capable, why don't you let them ship second when you trade with them?

He doesn't need to read into it. Your post just screams condescension.

Mailing internationally isn't that hard. I have let noobs ship first. You are the one who is paranoid about getting ripped off.

I understand your situation. You passed. But someone else wont & maybe they'll snag a deal. Im with you about 90% of the time. If you make an offer & they dont like it- you usually never hear back. But alot of traders have no clue what to list for a price anyway. Alot ask for near retail, or like 20% off for badly painted/assembled crap. You can buy new in box/on sprue for 20% or better off.

I recently listed an item with "make offer" (some cards) because I have no clue what they are worth. I dont play the game. Reguardless of their "value"- if someone makes me a decent offer-Im taking it! :-D

On the international trade issue- my 8th trade was to snakecharmer1 for my khador faction for his sm company...we are talking 1k easy on both side for the trade, I'd say the only hard part of the deal was the coustome form. Heck I've traded with a Canadian several times Noe and the hardest part is his address because it's in a Canadian military base.

I'd say if u are a (0) to trade internationaly with someone with at least SOME rating because of the lack of DC numbers. It's not a hard thing to fill out the coustome form, justgrab a stack like I did so u cam fill them out prior to getting to the office.

On topic: I will also skip the make offer threads unless I really like it because they seem like they are fishing for the highest possible profit and some that I have contacted do not respond back.

However if the person has no clue on what he/she has or the value or even doesn't care (like my next bits for sale/trade thread) then I'll check it out knowing full well that they are legitamently trying to get rid of something and not expecting the annoying 20% off price tags.

But hey it's their threads, let them have it listed how they want and they should expect lowballers, there deffinantly should not be a rule/ mandatory price inclusion thing if this is the OPs intent with this thread.

EZ mac did you even read my OP?(I'm pretty sure you didn't notice,or get, my comment about being off topic)
Of course I'm not trying to make it mandatory to price but for God sakes people look thru the responses, how many more buyers didn't look at your add because of "make" stinkin "offer"?
As another note.I'm not worried about paying too much for something, really it just erks me that people won't price their stuff and make it easy for me to buy.Instead we have to go thru 6 PMs on "how about this much?"
The one that really annoys me is "How much are you willing to pay for this?" when they see your add wanting something.I got two of these this week. One was a guy I like so it didn't bother me too much, the other was a textspeaker(ggrrrhhh).
Now the only thing I hate worse than that are guys with decent midlevel ratings who think they are the absolute word on how to trade on Btown.

Very true.

Nope.
"Snarky" is a negative term. I'm in a good mood.

Why? Do you disagree?

I mean, everyone knows that forum post count is the internet version of a penis.

Thirteen years?
Pshaw! T'is nothing!

I have so many posts that I'm, like, a trading God.
Even a 1000 rating wouldn't be better than my experience. Of course, we all know that anyone with a 1000 rating would have HAD to cheat to get it. Probably through sock puppet accounts.

JMFCoaS. The guy asks for advice, and I give it. There was nothing condescending about it. Why you guys are being up in arms about it, I have no idea.
