Ilyad Miniatures - Where do I get them?

Post by titan136 »

Hey there,

I dunno if this is the place to post this, but does anyone know where I can find Ilyad miniatures in North America?

I recently purchased a few in an eBay auction and they are some of the coolest miniatures I've ever seen.

Here's a link to their line of miniatures, but this site is based in the UK:
http://www.gamers-quest.co.uk/acatalog/Armageddon.html

Thanks in advance for your help

I have yet to find anyone in NA that sells them. Ilyad is a fairly small company so it is tough to get a hold of them. I have ordered them from Starplayer in france and GamersQuest in england. GamersQuest can be slow but Starplayer arrived in about 10 days.

I do happen to have a couple left from a order I placed with GamersQuest and they sold me a couple of extra miniatures by mistake.

If either of these are ones you happen to be loking for, let me know.

I thought that I saw a poll at one time on Fantization.com where Ilyad minis were listed as a possible future product line. Until then, you're going to be stuck with overseas suppliers.

One thing to note about orders from France is that they will reduce the prices by ~17% - the VAT - as they are shipping outside of the EU. Note that this just might offset the shipping costs... :-? Expect to pay ~$20-30 even for small packages.

Similar to the last poster, I've got (1) Pile ou Face (elf fighter with 2-weapons) I'd be willing to let go of - drop me a line if interested.

Regards,

Yes they are pricey. They are also about 35mm to 40mm in scale so a little larger than GW/PP miniatures. They are also made in a hard resin and are very light. But by being cast in resin they have incredibly small/fine detail on them. All of the knight type miniatures are in my collection so I feel they were worth the trouble to track them down.

Guys, thanks for the offer, but I'm just looking for Barbarians right now.

MM: go check out the barbarian minis, those are the ones that got me hooked on the line

Yeah... they're pretty cool.
They have the mini I was referring to... "Minor Avatar of Gaurochs"

That's a dang fine mini!
