Potential BTR: phantom567

Post by ydarg »

I hope I am doing this right. If not, please notify me and I will edit/retract.

The deal was this: I bought a Betrayal at Calth set at FLGS. Overwhelmed at the idea of another project, I decided to post a trade offer for WHFB/Sigmar stuff. Phantom567 sent me the best offer, was communicative, and I mailed the Calth figs. He acknowledged receipt of the figures, and promised to send his end of the deal. At that point, all communication stopped and I am forced to resort to some action.

I am new to Bartertown, but have been selling on eBay for years - under the name ydarg. I truly hope there is some sort of logistical hiccup here, and I checked phantom567's references - few, but good.

The exchange:

Bought Calth box at FLGS. I really don't think I should start another project, so maybe some trades would be in order.

I have all minis (and other game components) for that matter and would be willing to trade for the following:

AOS Seraphon
AOS terrain
WHFB stuff - Beastmen, Chaos, Wood Elf, High Elf, Skaven, O&G, Empire, VC, anything really can be considered.

Send me an offer...

Interesting. Let me ponder it for a while. I have a bunch of offers coming in.

When you say the whole box, did you mean the whole game or just all the minis?

Hi there:

Things got busy and I haven;t checked in for a bit. Are you still interested in the Betrayal at Calth minis? Your offerings have been the best so far. If so, do you have any Kroxigors?

My address is:

All information regarding the BTR target must be filed, this includes their address, email, anything they supplied you. You cannot edit your OP so just reply with it in a new comment.

Has he read your PM since the 8th?

I have messaged him pointing towards this BTR.

"BTR" stands for Bad Trade (or Trader) Report.
There are no "potential" BTRs. Either they are or they are not.
Please, let us know (in this thread) if you are OFFICIALLY calling this a BTR. If you are, we'll edit your Subject line accordingly. If not, we'll have to remove it as we don't allow "just in case" type threads in here.

Thanks.

Eric

That isn't really how it works.

What is the postage date on the package?

You never actually answerd my question about it being a "potential" BTR.
Considering that he shipped a week later than he said he would, and with no communication, this appears to be a valid BTR. that isn't even to mention that he arranged a trade in which he was about to go on holiday" (without warning you in advance) and was unable to ship in a timely manner to begin with.

Am I misinterpreting something?

@MM

The PM I received from the BTR target (Phantom567) was that he was sick and he had a friend handling the shipping.
