Well, this way I got to keep his shoes more or less intact.

Actually, you'd be surprised at how easy it is to carve away everything but the anatomy on a mini. Look at it this way, the sculptor started out by sculpting a naked figure, then added clothes on top of it. So I just took away the top layer before adding my own clothing.

With all due respect, I think you're being too modest.
It's one thing to just "remove" the clothing. You actually had to make it look like actual legs, though!

Ok, I'm being a little bit modest. Still, compared to sculpting his legs from scratch, I totally took the easy way out. Or easier, at least.

Well, the cake that these go on doesn't exist just yet. They ordered this well in advance for their wedding (I wholly endorse having all wedding preparations done as far in advance as possible... anything rushed is destined to go horribly wrong).

I don't know these clients personally, but if they send me pictures of the cake, I'll be sure to post them.
