Specialist sub-forums

Post by bluemeenie »

I know it's been a while since I have been on Bartertown but weren't there sub-forums for the specialist games to post haves/wants?

more specifically I was thinking of getting into BFG and was looking for the BFG sub-forum that I thought was a link below the Warhammer 40k forum at one point but it is no longer there or I was imagining it.

If it is no longer there then that is a shame especially with the 504 search issues as I now cannot find anyone who may have been looking to sale/trade BFG...

really all I see in the 40k trade section is pages of 40k :(

We recently updated to the newest version of phpbb software. During that time, the GW forums were condensed into individual forums, with fantasy going into one and sci-fi going into one. The overwhelming majority of posts to the subforums were just reposts of ads that were already in the main (40k & WHFB.AoS) forums, anyway.

As with any changes we make here, there was no small amount of unhappy postings when it first happened. I admit I was a bit skeptical, myself, at first. Frankly, though, I have grown to like it. One stop shopping for each genre.

yeah, I guess it would not be so bad if I could actually search for the specialists though :)

Hopefully, the 405 error will be fixed soon so I can do that.

Honestly?
I'm not hopeful about it being soon. It's not a BT issue. Apparently, it's a phpbb issue.
There are some suggestions in the "New Site Weirdness" thread about getting around it.
