Gimli on Horseback conversion
True, we love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.

I expect honesty about models' conditions, thank you.
If I don't respond in a day or two, please check back, I've forgotten-sorry.

The mini looks even better in person! Gimli is already on the priming table and shortly thereafter will be spending some quality time with my at my painting table. I will send you pics when he is complete.

Cool! Yeah, I hate photographing GS... it always looks all weird-- I still need to get better at that.
Definitely looking forward to seeing him painted.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

Re: Gimli on Horseback conversion
Looking great! The horse is really nicely blended, and I think he fits in with the unit nicely.
Mind if I use your finished images on my blog?

By all means, feel free. I just wish I had a better camera and photo-taking setup. Careful though, you may become a victim of your own success. You know nobody currently makes a mounted Gimli that I know of, lol!

Thanks, re: pics!
re: mounted gimli, hehe, pretty sure I couldn't cast those commercially without getting angry glares from multiple laywer teams, what with multiple companies being involved in LotR and wanting their share of fantasy-based profits
