What's up with Marvel dice masters?

I have never seen marvel dice masters in my local store but know its kinda popular. I like quarriors and know the designers are the ones making this new dice game but whats up with it? Does it play like quarriors? I know they sell packs of 2 dice how does that work? Anyone know anything about the game? Have info to share? Whats a fair price on the 2 player starter pack? Just I have so many questions and am finding little help via online sources... Please if anyone can lend some info please post away I'd love to discuss whats up with this game
