I like to use liquid plastic glue. It doesn't stick to YOU, and doesn't solidify swiftly. That way, you've got time to manipulate the pieces, but don't need to worry about them sticking to you.
...I'm presuming you're assembling plastic models, of course!

Eric
Lower rating? You ship first.

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.

I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

In the end I just spent about, seriously, four hours on 7 antennae, with only one going fairly easily when I realized green stuff was needed.

Infinity is all metal, which has its own issues, of course, as well as upsides.

I will need to take photos of those 14 minis and three or four others I got done before the year ends and put them up in here. Also the one mini I got fully painted this year in the other thread.
On r/miniswap under the same name. Please be polite & answer PMs, even if all you tell me is "No thanks," or "I need more time." I expect lower rating to ship first, even if that's me, unless we work something out in advance.

I'll have another group of minis to list, but won't get them up until I get home tomorrow night. And on Monday, I start working on the 2017 pile.

I have 5 more assembled and 1 painted, but I left those in my room in the town I work in, so this will have to be all I claim. 14 points please.

Assembled these in 2016, just did not post until today.

13 mounted, 32 foot, for a SAGA army. 71 pts
Image

Guild Ball figs, mostly Brewers (10 regular models, 2 with larger bases) - 14 pts
Image

Arena Rex models (4 regular, 1 large base) - 6 pts
Image

So, another 91 pts to end up the year. On to 2017 - I have 1 army to assemble and 4 to paint before AdeptiCon rolls around, so might as well get points for all of it, right?

Finally getting some time off to talk pictures.

1st up 10 of the new 1000 Sons Rubric Marines.

Image

10 points

Now for models I built about 3 weeks ago but never got chance to photograph.
Space ships from the new Hawk Games, DropFleet Commander KS.

4 forces of 4 frigates and 3 cruisers each. I built 2 types of frigates and 3 types of cruiser in each fleet.

The frigates are probably worth 1 point each.. The cruisers, either 2 or 3 each.
Here's a Rubric for scale.
Two of the frigates are attached to toothpicks for painting.
I pictured 1 base for scale also. I'm not gluing the ships to the bases, for ease of travel. The ships get glued to a clear 'widgit' which attaches to the base. The ships are painted before you attach the widgit.

1st the UCM starter fleet. United colonies of man.

Image

4 frigates, 3 cruisers. 4 x1 and 3 x2 or 3? so 10 or 13 points.

next the Scourge fleet. They're the bugs of the universe.

Image

4 frigates, 3 cruisers. 4 x1 and 3 x2 or 3? so 10 or 13 points.

Next the Shaltari. The ancient aliens from the universe. Think of them as eldar or minbari.
The have 3 jumpgates. The gates are 1 piece, but have their own stands. Each stand is 3 pieces and 2 decals/stickers.

BRB.. USB just crapped out. can't use mouse or upload pics

Ok using the other computer.

Image

4 frigates, 3 cruisers. 4 x1 and 3 x2 or 3? 3 jumpgates and bases. so 13 or 16 points.

Next is the PHR, Post human republic...toothpick as piant stick on 1 frigate.

Image

4 frigates, 3 cruisers. 4 x1 and 3 x2 or 3? so 10 or 13 points.

Next the PHR Battle Cruiser. This is an all resin PIA.
Frigate and Rubric for scale.

Image

Easily equal to a rhino.. not counting the plexi base and stand. 5 points.

and lastly.. The UCM battle cruiser. Al all resin major PIA. Understand that neither of the BC had instructions and were warped. I had to build it looking at drawings and pics of others online.
Again, Rubric and friagte for scale.

Image

Easily the size of land raider in length, but not wide. About 2 dozen pieces plus the base which has 2 supports. 6-8 points?

so totals of..
10 for the Rubric. 10x1.
16 for all frigates. 16x1.
24 or 36 for cruisers. 12x2 or 3.
3 for the gates. 3x1.
5 for the PHR BC. 1x5.
6-8 for the UCM bc. 1x 6-8.
Heh, I was called a Grognard. ;-)

I havent thought about it. While 2016 started strong, it slowed down in the summer. NOt sure why. I lost alot of interest in building as my daughter was doing alot of new things. If it is run again, I would be interested in participating but not keeping score.

You have a kid [or kids] that is your current hobby. All else is secondary.

If no one else wants, I'll start it and TRY to stay current.
