Yeah the new point chart is to do away with bases. So many things share the same base that the old point system was too complicated. The new system brings into consideration size and detail like KT states.

But, everything is up to debate if you feel something needs to be voted upon.

I'd personally say 2 points specifically due to there being base filler (guardsmen, barrel of intestines, etc), but I do understand where KT is coming from as well. In the end is 3 points going to matter? probably not, so it's fickle to argue over. If it was JUST the 3 nurglings and NO base filler, It would definitely be 1 point each.

That's my opinion any ways.

Hmmm base filler.. I only saw a couple nurglings....let me try to take a better look.. I'm using an old laptop and it can't do hardly anything.

Well I can't zoom in on the pics..dunno if it's the pic or my computer.
But I count the equivalent of 5 nurglings on those bases vs the 9+ on the normal nurgling bases.
3 nurglings and 1-2 parts to equal 2 more. Still only 5 nurglings on a base..
They look to be only about a guard trooper and maybe a backpack to me.. no?
That'd be 1 point.

If, at the end of the year, you are tied on just losing by 3 points..I should have a better computer by then and be able to see a better shot.

From my point of view it doesn't matter that the standard bases have more plastic when the process of getting them completed was more difficult on the other versions. So while the 3 points doesn't actually matter, knowing exactly where those subjective lines are going to fall does.

Eyes of the nine =2 small infantry, 3 reg. Infantry and 1 character. 11?

Are you asking for feedback on the paint job?

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure which "judgement" you were looking for, and I didn't want to risk the thread going off topic with painting compliments/comments/tips/advice.

I pulled out my Zarbag and eyes models. [all unpainted]

Zarbag, 7 small infantry on 25 mm bases, 2 infantry on 25mm base.
Eyes, 2 on 25mm bases, 3 infantry on 32mm bases, 1 elite on 32mm base. He is a character, but really doesn't have the detail as say a terminator chaplain or such.

7x1, 2x2 = 11
2x1, 3x2, 1x3 = 11

22 total.

Yeah, as far as commenting on quality; PLEASE keep it to something like : Hey that model has a lot of extra work and I think HE should get more.
No you can't nominate yourself.
Then we can discuss wheather someone's paint job is so good that he should double or better. Especially if there is conversion work or kit bashing.. Right MM?
