Re: Looking for Eldar tips
I should do that more... I tend to watch event coverage but not so much before and after large events... I need to get with the times... lol.
I listen to music non stop while working... I wonder if I could do that without it drawing too much of my attention.

Re: Looking for Eldar tips
I couldn't.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks.
I can do precisely ONE "communication" at a time effectively.
If I'm doing anything that requires me to read or write, I CANNOT pay attention to my audiobooks. I end up ignoring one or the other.
More power to you, if you can!

Give me a sense of humor Lord. Give me the grace to see a joke.
To get some humor out of life and pass it on to other folk.
I think what this situation needs is some imagination.

The dual starcannon WL under is from my old army.. but after seeing the new models firsthand, I don't think I'll field him, but instead replace him with more new models...
I got a box of strategum cards for Craftworld Eldar with my most recent pickup... are those still relevant to 8th edition?
Think for yourself, question Authority.

Re: Looking for Eldar tips
It does... but you do NOT want to try to get a commission with the painter who did the work.

Re: Looking for Eldar tips
Painter6479.
He was actually a very nice guy who did very VERY good work. He was neither cheap, nor expensive.
I used him myself.
In fact, he was an advertiser for a while.
Long story short, he got in over his head, couldn't handle all the commissions he took in, and couldn't refund the (spent) money.
After a lot of BTRs, complaints, etc., I managed to track him down with some help via email.
He agreed to let me work as an intermediary, and get people their stuff back. Nobody could contact him but me. He was skittish at that point. Wanted to make good, but just didn't know how and didn't want to expose himself to the vitriol (I was polite to him - see, people... I'm not ALWAYS an @sshole! LOL).
I spent... I don't know... A year? Eighteen months? Seemed like forever... coaxing him along.
Eventually, he disappeared again without making good.
Before he did, though, I managed to get more than half (maybe 60 to 70%? - I've long deleted my files and email strings) of the items he had returned to their original owners, painted to the promised standard, IF NOT BETTER. A couple guys cut their losses and just wanted their items back unpainted. They got them.
In dollars, though, we recovered ten thousand + (models and paint work included). I know my friend had $4k in ForgeWorld DKoK with him that was probably another $4k in cash to paint (at least). In fact, that friend is a lawyer and was about to go after him in a far less friendly manner than me, when I managed to get in contact with him.
Do some searches, and you'll find some threads on him, I'm sure.

That said, this is off-topic enough. Let's refrain from going down that rabbit hole any further.
Thanks.

Re: Looking for Eldar tips
Haha, yeah it was quite the predicament..
Does anyone have tips for carrying wraithguard in case? I've resorted to 'flapping' my cells to make them 2 wide.. tall units they are... Beats carrying 30 metal ones though been there....
And efficient ways to transport wraithlords, with their dainty trailings... man I love wraith stuff.
