No, MM, you're not getting me.

Now you can roll up. Then next turn, get out and assault.

;)
Color me confused. That's what I said, and you corrected me.

Okay... then let's start over... because I'm confused as Hell right now.
I *thought* we were saying the same thing, only in different words.
I'm saying that :

1) You could not, in 7e, get out of a vehicle and assault, unless it was an Assault vehicle.
2) In 8e, ALL vehicles are allowed to be disembarked & then assaulted from, provided the vehicle did not already move in the *same turn* as the disembarkation & assault.
3) I'd like there to be a special classification in 8e for Assault Vehicles that *does* allow the Assault vehicle to move, then be disembarked & assaulted from *in the same turn.*

Now, I'm not saying you're agreeing on the rest, but it seems to me that you are (also) saying -even if in different words- that ALL vehicles are allowed to be disembarked & then assaulted from, provided the vehicle did not move in the *same turn* as the disembarkation & assault.

If that is the MESSAGE you're putting out there, then it matches my own (thus, my confusion). If it's not, please clarify.

...unless you know we're saying the same thing and you're just trolling me (in which case, you can f*ck straight off!!!! LOL).

I was messing with you to cover up for the fact that I misunderstood your comma usage in your first post.

NO IT IS NOT.

He hurt my feelings and, if Barack Obama taught me anything, it's that you're not allowed to hurt an American's feelings.
I'm pretty sure it's unconstitutional!

Back on topic...
I haven't had time to look at the rules since the day I bought them, but I'm toting the rulebook to Florida with me for 9 days. It's the only actual book I'm taking. So, any reading I manage to do will only be that book. I hope to have a solid grasp when I"m done. LOL

Seriously, Eric, the core rules for playing are summed up in about nine pages - the game includes them as a "pamphlet" that is shrinkwrapped together with the beginner army books and assembly instructions. All the rest of the book prior to that is history and background on the different factions accompanied by artwork, and all the part after that is advanced rules for things like scenarios and battle-forged armies.
