My poor griffons...

Post by SauronsLackey »

So one of my favorite models, Griffon mortars, are no longer usable in the new Astra Militarum codex. Would anyone here object to them being used as a proxy for the new Wyvern? Do you think this proxy would be accepted in tournament scenes?

I don't want to shelf 3 just to buy 3. Especially since the hydra part of the kit would never get used.

You'd get no objection from me.
I am always in the market for weird and wonderful GW oddbitz and ephemera. PM me if you have something old/weird/rare.

For pick up games, I wouldn't mind, for the tournament scene, I guess you would have to ask the TO. Someplace are very WYSIWYG......
info about shipping: Lower ratting pays/ship first and I live in Canada.
thank you

Tourny wise, I expect to see this alot. The models are not too far different. No objection to me and knowing a few TO's you'd have no objection from them as long as cleared it in advance.
Positive feedback I have left for but have not received any in return: Stephen, oldgamer56

Just make up some kind of a background story and call them "converted." LOL
I wouldn't care if you used them.

The fact that GW has brainwashed people to the extent that this question even NEEDS to be asked is infuriating. From that statement you might guess that I would wholly support your using them as whatever the hell you want to use them for. :)

Glad to know I will still get use out of the models. Thanks for the replies!

Mount an old Thudd Gun in the back in place of the mortar. That's my proxy for next weekend.

Or you could just use the rules from the previous codex or IA1...
