I called GW support and was informed that if you have the WD with flyers and your codex, that you would not need this book. Well Ill believe it when I see it.

If anyone here is buying the book lets compare notes. I have the WD issue with flyers. I have no intrest in flyer dog fight rules or how good their painters are. Im just looking at the ork and valk rules for myself.

Provided you guys do enough to avoid giving rules (points, etc) out here, point blank, I'd love to see an in-depth comparison, if there are any differences.

after making sure that the BASIC stat lines (like whats in the back of the 40k rule book) are the same, this should and needs to be done via PMs. anything else should be nuked by adimns.

That's not true. They are allowed to post the stat lines, as long as they don't give the points cost.
I'm not afraid of GW and their near-legal attempts at tyrrany. Stat lines can be listed for comparison, as well as abilities, etc. As long as enough information is left off that what's in the post does not allow you to run off and play the model in your army, which you cannot do without points cost, it's fine.

so no points. i know its a fine line to walk. so perhaps PMing everything, forward all to the admin team and allow them to post may be a way to go.

someone has to get the book first howerver.

local club's admin has ordered the book. BTW $9 shipping??? gonna try to get with him and do a side by side compare. ill post findings sans points and being very general.

GW's own web page has stat lines, just no points costs. How could anyone get in trouble for posting what GW already posts?

Please do not do this. A question here or there is fine; bombarding the staff with "Can I?"s is counter-productive.

Black Templar are getting the raven and the talon!! That has me happy. Some folks at 40K fightclub are saying the talon loses the ability to escort vehicles outflanking and hover strike is gone for just hover. Oh and the points went down... Looks to have just changed the rules to match 6th ed better. Oh and the DE flyer got cheaper as well.. According to the same folks the IG flyers are unchanged from the BRB
