Value of 40K Epic stuff?

Post by starslayer »

Ive recently picked up a bunch of 40K Epic stuff. The 1st edition box set (all new on sprue untouched, Marines, Eldar, buildings, Titans), Warlords- Orks/Squats (unpunched), Squat Warriors( 5 sprues, untouched), a bunch of blisters sealed- Leviathons, Cyclops, Gyrocopters, Thunderfire cannons, Goliath Cannons.
There is even some regular full sized 40K- Chaos Squat Exo armor, & a beat up blister of 4 Chaos quats.

Anyone know of ball-park value? I havent seen any of this stuff here at B-town.

I was able to sell a Chaos Squat in exo armor for about $15 here, plus about $5 a pop for regular C. Squats..

I would check out Ebay completed auctions on the Epic stuff.. the old beetleback titans seem to go for a bunch, so I would imagine a complete 1st ed box would be maybe a couple hundred bucks..

I don't recall a starter box of that game with Eldar and Marines.. what is the exact box called?

(and, can you share pictures so we can help figure out what is in there?)
2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

Its the very first Epic set- "Space Marine" is on the box. I think its an Eldar force with Guardians/Falcons, Marines with Marines/landraiders, Rhinos & 1 Titan. A bunch of buildings. I'll get a pic later tonight.

styrofoam buildings? Those should be at least 10 bucks a building ... when I sold mine a year or 2 ago, that is what I got.. 8 buildings for $80...

but if the box only has the one titan in it, that is still cool, but not as cool as the 6 titan box..

Sad. My FLGS has a cardboard box filled with the old Epic styrofoam buildings...and someone took a lighter to them all and melted them to make "ruins".

I found one on EBay for $140 + shipping that is used. I'd be happy with $100 + shipping. Perhaps ill list it. I want to see if that one sells.

I have the same question as the OP, as I recently came into what seems like a significant amount of Epic Tyranids. eBay doesn't come close to the volume I have. I can figure the NIB stuff will sell above retail, given its been OOP for some time now.

The full inventory. (Each number indicates a base, not the total individual models.)

Painted
24 Gargoyles
24 Hormagaunts
24 Genestealers
48 Termagants
23 Tyranid Warriors
28 Biovores
20 Lictors

Primed
1 Harridan
4 Trygons
11 Hive Tyrants
6 Dactylis
3 Malefactors
6 Exocrines

Unpainted, Not Assembled
4 Zoanthropes
3 Dominatrices
4 Haruspex
3 Exocrines
3 Dactylis

New in Box / Blister
2 Tyranid Swarm
1 Hierodule Bio-Titan
1 Biovore
2 Haruspex Assault Spawn
1 Hive Tyrant
