Nothing wrong with using rt era models. A lot of the time, they look "cooler" than the new stuff because they are different. My chaos marine army is mostly rt era stuff (including imp guard las cannons and squat heavy bolters) and it never failed to get "ohhhs" and "ahhhs". Course, now forgeworld is coming out with the retro stuff.
Treat other members with the same dignity, respect and honesty you would like to be treated with.
