I really don't think BA are that good. SW are WAY better. BA does require experience to field. If they get charged the die like any other marine.

I think GK will be good. They will have to be. GW likes making money. I think they are going to have a REAL answer for Mech.

From what I've seen of the leaked Dex is they are going to suck. :'(

They suffer from the point eating problem. They have no easy way to
get into CC while being effective.
Couldn't disagree more.
I saw the thread on Dakka taht goes into MINUTE detail about the new units, including point costs and stat lines.
I couldn't have been much more impressed. Really.

The new PAGK is at least as tough as the old one, and is only 20 points, for example.

If I wasn't freshly building/learning DE's, I'd be jumping back into GK's head first.

20 points apiece...

Sweet can field the 100 of them I just got in 2500.

Take that SW and BA... Try killing 100 Str 6 marines that are all psykers.

I disagree!

I feel that in the Competitive Enviroment, they are just unable to stack
against Space Wolfs or Imperial Guard.

I think they are missing some Long Range anti tank + Speed.
( That Psychic Jumping power is an pretty good start though ^ ^)

While for the most part i reserve judgement until i actually see a LGS advance copy, if what was posted is it, i'll stick with my Templars.

And why the mixing of the Inquisitors? Are they doing away with the other branches, or were the considering that, and then decided that they wanted them in seperate books?

Really interested to see what they wind up doing to my first army, but not thinking its going to draw me back to them.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

The Rules: Lower rating ships first. International traders are fine, but unless the deals really good, its generally not worth the shipping. Buyers pay first, no exceptions.

I like the mixing of Inquisitors, personally. I can see a lot of fluffy reasons why (for example) Xenos =I='s might work with Grey Knights. I think it will add to the flavor of the army.

I hope to see it in the Sororitas dex, too.

I loved having Inquistors in my Imperial Guard army.
I don't know if I still can, with the new GK codex I'm pretty
sure it means that my SoB are not viable anymore.

GW has been moving toward the "1 codex per army" tendency. Until an IG codex includes =I='s, you're stuck trying to recreate one with the choices in the GK codex, unless you can find some buddies who will let you do otherwise.

As beautiful as all those models are, I just can't get excited about GK. Probably my dislike for psychic powers (remnants of the Dark Millenium days) but I have to admit they are nice looking.

After I have picked up 100 plus of the old Grey Knights in the last few weeks. I have to say I am pleased. It looks as if there are a TON of bits in the kits. So a box or two will suffice to update the older models.

I don't know about everyone else. but I am extremely partial to pewter minis. These new plastic kits are really nice but will match the older kits very nicely. Unlike Dark Eldar, which do not mix with the older minis very well.
